Hey,

Im just wodnering how those people that are taking T3 feel as I am most likely

going to be starting it soon?

Do you feel completely normal? any side effects?

How long did it take to start noticing the improvements from T3?

Thanks

ny,

I noticed within a couple of weeks that my brain seemed clearer, and my oxygen level was better. I would feel great with each increase, then in about 5 days or so I feel worse, so I upped my dose 12.5 each time. Each time the raise made me feel good again.

The only bummer for me has been having to take it so often, and since I cant take cytomel, had to get a compounded one, that has not been consistent. This has caused some problems. Id like to just be able to take the same amount each day and forget it!

On T3, I feel happier and have a generally more positive outlook. When I don't increase quickly enough, I get teary and depressed. I also go to the bathroom more regularly, which contributes to the happy feeling (lol). =) It is a stark difference from how I felt on Armour. I was a panic-attacked, exhausted, irrational, emotional mess on Armour. It's not Armour's fault, but my RT3 issue and maybe ferritin. The only side effects I get are when my adrenals are not well-supported. I would feel shaky, irritable or tired at first when I tried to raise the T3. But not anymore. I now get relief with each raise. It has taken me two months of playing with HC dosing (I made two mistakes: I titrated up instead of starting at a good dose at once, and I started

off WAY too conservatively and had to be convinced to allow myself to take what my body needs) to get stable enough to increase T3. Until now, I've been increasing T3 too slowly, but am ramping it up to where it needs to be currently. Also, any other side effects that I have (swelling, tiredness, constipation) are from not taking ENOUGH T3 yet.Once my HC dosing was good enough, I notice immediate effects from the T3.To: RT3_T3 Sent:

Is compoundeded when it is slow-release? i thought this was better than normal?

When you reach a stable dose, does that 'feeling worse after 5 days' thing go

away?

Thanks

That sounds great!

how do you know when it's time to raise? just by symptoms?

How much Hc are you taking now? Im on 40mg and ferritin is fine so hopefully I

should have no probs

THanks

I have felt them in less than 10 days. The ony thing I can think of as a

" side-effect " is sometimes stomach pain. I had heard that here before. I'm

thinking with me it might be from a higher tension level.

can anyone else give info on how they feel on T3 only?

Do you feel completely normal now you're on T3 or still some problems? How long

did it take to feel improvements?

What adrenal support do you need?

THanks

I am no where near where I need to be on T3 but I do have to say I feel much

better than when I wasn't taking it. I also look much better. I am not so

puffy, even my husband noticed and that is saying a lot. :)

There are times still that I do not feel 100% but this is something that is so

individual that I cannot tell you what is going to work for you. I do believe I

am doing what is right for me, right now.

If I start to go more down hill than up, then I will probably take a look at the

whole protocol and see if it is really for me. For now it is working.

Although, I do have ups and downs and you will probably read about them because

I really need Val's help with this.

For me, I get an *immediate* improvement in mental alertness and the brain fog lifts...  Vision clears up (it's blurry when I'm hypo).  A little more energy - though I have not yet optimized my dose, so hopefully this will get even better.  Less depressed, less sluggish, hair stops falling out after about a week.  When I've hit an optimal dose a few times, I had normal temps (98.6 - 98.8) and then I REALLY felt better - weight started dropping, all fluid retention went away...  Just for some reason I haven't been able to *stay* in that blissful state, though I am still trying!

I'm at 100 mcg. now, but something still isn't right.  I don't know if I've overshot or still need more or WHAT exactly.  The time I " hit it right on " was when I started adding BACK some Armour and got to 2 grains while still on about 75 mcg. of T3...  However, I was trying to decrease T3 and add back Armour, so the next dose change I made everything went haywire and never has been right since :(

That was " the plan " for now since I also had RT3 going on...  But on T3 only I have not yet had the same results - maybe a day or two but it never lasts :(

-I want to say my bit here too.

I have been on t3 for5 mths now with ups and downs with 35 hc. When i get to

80mcg t3 i start getting 80+ pulse and i can't say i feel cured. my bloods show

way above maxiumum levels of t3. For the moment i'm still at 75mcg.

If i sleep i feel much better. but i'm not sure if i were to take less t3 or

more t3 that i would sleep better.

why am i not sleeping well? Val says t3 helps you to sleep but Dr P says the

opposite . any experience here?
