I have been taking Armour Thyroid for decades. After I first had symptoms of vulvodynia my doctor changed me to Synthyroid which does not contain T3. My symptoms got worse. Then I changed back to Armour and started to get better but am not cured. One thing I would mention is that at the time of my onset of vulvodynia I was taking about 1-1/2 times as much Armour Thyroid as I am presently taking.
