Guest guest
Hi to all, Well, I unmolded my first batch and was so proud. It looks good. Of course, the proof is in the pudding so to speak and I'll have to wait a month for that, but, it looks good. YEAH!!!!!!!!!! A couple of questions. I had read somewhere that we could use freezer paper to line the primary mold. I used wax paper and thought that would do, however, when I unmolded my soap, the freezer paper was gone. Oops!!! Anyway, I don't think it will affect the outcome, will it???? The next question is about storage. At the rate I'm going, I'm going to run out of storage tomorrow :-). Here's my question. Here are my storage options. 1 - I have an attic which gets very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. 2 - My husband has a building outside he'll let me use, but Hot, hot, hot... and, 3 - I have a full basement and have plenty of room there. Here is my concern with the basement. I have heard you all talk about keeping the soap warm and my basement gets cold. Any ideas??? I would love to use the basement but I want my soap to be perfect. How can I make the basement work??? Thanks in advance, Sandy in Ky.

Guest guest
I receive HTML posts from onelist all the time on another group, so I don't think that is the answer. I prefer HTML posts. Guest guest
Congrats on your soap! =o) I store my soap in the basement. It's lovely because I don't get the musty smell anymore and have the best smelling basement in town! Your soap will do well there, I'd think. I use freezer paper to line my molds, personally. I've never had a problem with it. Wax paper tore too easily for me, hence using freezer paper. ~ ..:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:.
