Hi to all,

Well, I unmolded my first batch and was so proud. It looks good.

Of course, the proof is in the pudding so to speak and I'll have to

wait a month for that, but, it looks good. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!

A couple of questions. I had read somewhere that we could

use freezer paper to line the primary mold. I used wax paper

and thought that would do, however, when I unmolded my

soap, the freezer paper was gone. Oops!!! Anyway, I don't think

it will affect the outcome, will it????

The next question is about storage. At the rate I'm going, I'm

going to run out of storage tomorrow :-). Here's my question.

Here are my storage options. 1 - I have an attic which gets

very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. 2 - My husband

has a building outside he'll let me use, but Hot, hot, hot... and,

3 - I have a full basement and have plenty of room there. Here

is my concern with the basement. I have heard you all talk

about keeping the soap warm and my basement gets cold.

Any ideas??? I would love to use the basement but I want

my soap to be perfect. How can I make the basement work???

Thanks in advance,

Sandy in Ky.

Hi! ...I think she's sending in HTML text instead of plain text. You

probably are only reading plain text which would cause an attachment or an

additional post... 'cuz I haven't gotten any of her " duplicates "

, I think you might have the Happy 99 virus. When you post,

another shows up immediately after. I don't know what it is because

this list doesn't allow attachments.

Send yourself a test email and see what the second email is.

I receive HTML posts from onelist all the time on another group, so I don't

think that is the answer. I prefer HTML posts.

Congrats on your soap! =o)

I store my soap in the basement. It's lovely because I don't get the musty

smell anymore and have the best smelling basement in town! Your soap will do

well there, I'd think.

I use freezer paper to line my molds, personally. I've never had a problem with

it. Wax paper tore too easily for me, hence using freezer paper.
