Guest guest
I dont think you need the cortisol test to tell you that you need some adrenal support. Subject: adrenal optionsTo: RT3_T3 Date: Monday, June 1, 2009, 9:49 AM I would like to know what are some adrenal options. I cannot tolerate HC (been there, done that), I cannot take Isocort because it has echinaecia (sp?) At this point, I am not even sure I need any but I am working with Val for my Rt3 and the only adverse problem is high pulse. So I am thinking of possibly getting my saliva test done again. It has been over a year since the first time but I need to know what other options are out there.Thank so muchVenizia------------------------------------
Guest guest
What would I need to tell me? I thought the 24hr saliva told you if you have adrenal issues. Guest guest
yes, of course it will tell you...but since you have a past of low adrenal, and now you added t3, and then your having obviuos adrenal symptoms...I just mean..the writings on the wall kinda. Guest guest
What form of HC did you have trouble with? Did you try the OTC cream? I have had really good luck with it. Guest guest
It was a compounded HC in a capsule. How would you use the cream as far as knowing how much to use? Guest guest
Dosing would depend on your cortisol results. Radar > > > > What form of HC did you have trouble with? Did you try the OTC cream? I have had really good luck with it.
Guest guest
What I am asking is how is a cream measured out for use. Venizia > > > > > > What form of HC did you have trouble with? Guest guest
Oh! 1/4 tsp cream = 11.66 mg HC or 1 ml = 10 mg HC (using a dosing syringe). Radar > > What I am asking is how is a cream measured out for use. >
Guest guest
Great thanks so much. Not sure I need anything because the only symptom I am having is high pulse which I and Val feel is not enough to say I am having adrenal issues. Then I had a ACTH stim test which also said the same thing. I am glad to know I have this option in case I do have adrenal problems. Thanks again.
