Hi Mike,

We also go to the CT in NJ for my son, . All babies are

different so I can't say how long will be in the band. But the

general time frame is about 3 months, I think. Let us know how your

appointment goes. Everyone at CT in NJ is great. We work with the

clinician, , the most right now. She is excellent. Zana at the

front desk is very helpful and Wanda in finance is great too. The

whole office is great.

Mike-

My son got his DOCband at 7m. He has been wearing it for 8w now and

will be done in 4 more weeks! When he was first banded, they

estimated 12-16 weeks. His progress has been wonderful and I am so

happy that we took this route. I showed him 'helmetless' to my

neighbor for the first time since he was banded. She also was amazed

by the obvious changes.

In our case, his head started rounding out immediately. His ear

alignment has been improving in the last few weeks and we expect it

to continue to improve in the next month.

Hello Mike

Welcome to the group. You are one of a few dads here. )

It is different with every baby on how long they can wear their

bands. It depends on age, growth rate, desired end results. My

daughter was 6months when we started tx, and wore her band for

almost 11wks.

Also 71/2months is a great age still to start treatment at. Maybe

though you could call the office and have them put you on a waiting

list incase someone canceles.

Hi Mike,

How long she wears the band will depend on her rate of growth. My

daughter got her second DOCband at 8 mos and fit in it for about 14

weeks. The max CT uses a band for is 16 weeks. She is definitely

not too old to see some great results. My Hannah had severe plagio

and wore her 3rd DOCband from 15-19 mos and even saw significant

change during that time. Her pics are in the before and
