All three of my kids have a clotting disorder called Protein C deficiency, this is why they take coumadin and aspirin. It has helped them in that they have less blood clots and TIA"s and pulmonary embolisms. I hope it helps you too......

The oxygen therapy is for sleep apnea.

I would be glad to help you anytime I can, If ever you just want to talk just write....Im usually lurking around

I have been taking aspirin for several years. If you have hardening of the arteries, the aspirin can help to thin the blood, which makes it flow through those areas better and not have the plaque build up more, at a more rapid rate.

There are things that are bad for mito, but the problems caused by mito need to be addressed as they would be for most other patients. If you have a heart disease, you treat it, regardless of what is causing it. It just so happens that mito folk have more things go wrong due to the low energy in cells caused by the mito.

Why do your kids take coumadian and asprin? Is ity the clotting

disorder? My Drs. really want me to take asprin becaused of the

clotting thing and I just found out that I have hardening of the

artries of the brain. Do blood thinners help mito? What is oxygen

therapy and what is it for? Sorry so many questions but I'm really

trying to help myself, because nobody elsed is helping me. Thanks for

even writing me back. I truly apreciate it.

I'm glad to read that you're doing better. Take it easy with those boxes. I know what packing up is like and it's a real job. You must be exhausted but I read thru the lines too and felt your excitement. I understand how sad your mom will be when you move away because I too miss my grandchildren (and children) who are living in the east. It's hard for me to believe that I've been in New Mexico nearly ten months now.

OK. you can update me on your final decision of your move. Are you moving to Arizona? If so, where in Arizona? It will be exciting to have the chance to meet you. I hope there are no glitches in the house closing and you can get on the way to your new lives. Are there jobs and good things waiting for you at the end of this move or is it a leap of faith?

Hi Alice,

wow , thanks for thinking of me and asking.

My eye is all better now, the doc said he thought it was a blood clot that burst. he said it was probally already there but in the process of moving and packing boxes it probally ruptured.

We are moving this week I think..yippee!!

I am going to miss my mom soooooo much though. she says she will slip into a deep depression when I take the grandkids away, thanks mom!!!!

Anyway I should be able to see you and cindy now........cant wait to get there. Our house is scheduled to close this week so wish us luck.....
