!

I am soooooo happy for you! Are you feeling pregnant? Does it seem

surreal? Have you told everybody? How are they responding? You are

in my prayers!

Oh Thank you Gwen! I am holding my breath for your period to come right on time and that you get pregnant the first month! I will be counting the days to your period. Good luck and thanks again!

Hi Glenda,

Thanks for your thoughts. We have been telling only close friends and family. I will hold off from telling work and other friends for a couple more weeks...when the placenta is done forming and I have my final ultrasound from my RE.

Am I feeling pregnant? Yes and no. I am very tired and I have truouble sleeping at night...too many hormones. But, I have no nausea and I am hungry all the time. My last pregnancy I gained 50 lbs, which you would laugh if you knew me because I am not exactly a big person. It almost increased my weight by 50%!!! And my ds was only a 6 lb 13 oz baby, so most of it was fat and not the baby. Anyway, I am fortunate that I don't get nauseous, but I will pay for it in other ways ...lol.

Also, I forgot to mention to you all in my last e-mail. This pregnancy being viable means that my last pregnancy went bad because of bad genes and NOT lining problems. This means that I was able to get pregnant two times in a row with IVF and 6 mm lining and no triple. This is good news for all of us. It just seemed like all the docs I spoke to either on the internet or my own RE think that getting pregnant with thin linings is on the rare side...but we have had so many pregnancies with thin linings here. I hope that they are just being overly conservative in their evaluations and that they don't want to gets hopes up for no reason. Anyway, we have each other to spread the news, thin linings can work for pregnancies!

Thanks agian Glenda,

Hi , I just read your email and I'm so happy for you (it even made me a

little teary eyed) This little bean is tough one and

he's hanging in for the long run. Good implantation, good size, good heart

beat--what more could you ask for? Did you get a

picture of your baby? I had an ultrasound picture of my baby at 7 weeks that

only looked like a circle with a dot in it but it

was my baby's picture. Maybe you can breathe a little easier now (easier said

than done I know). Anyways how do you feel?

When I was 8 weeks I had already jumped up 1 bra size and had little twinges

that the doc said were ligaments stretching.

Hopefully I'll have those feelings again someday. Please keep sending us

updates. Successes like yours are what keep me going.

Big hugs to you and your little bean.

Amy L

ps I'm calling your RE tomorrow to setup the phone consult--keep your fingers

crossed

Hi Amy L and thanks!

Yes, I did get a picture of both the 6 week and the 8 week ultrasounds. You are right, they don't show much, but what the heck. I also got a picture of him/her as a 7 celled embryo. Funny, I had such a doomed feeling about this IVF until I looked at that 7 celled embryo picture and I had a funny feeling that this would be it. I brushed those feelings away at the time, cause I didn't want to hurt myself.

Funny, my Mother thinks it will be a girl because this bean is tough and was smart enough to find the right spot! My pregnancy symptoms aren't too bad, mostly tired and not real clear headed because I'm not sleeping well.

I am looking forward to hearing what my RE says to you. He is so wonderful. Both Judy and I are so happy with him...too bad you aren't any closer. Anyway, he gave me a big hug yesterday after the ultrasound. I could tell that we really made his day, what a nice guy. Good luck and I am anxious to hear what happens. Keep in touch Amy! Good luck
