A discogram is needed for definite diagnosis of a look at the discs. I had three disintegrated discs with fissures throughout, they do CT thin slice which is said to be better than MRI. I agree. MRI's mainly do bulk stuff, CT's can get thin slices of the part they are looking at. Always as for a CD of your MRI and scans etc. They will give you one copy free and the software is one that Doctors use, you have to ask them if they can convert it for you.. Just info to know.
