I love eating at truck stops, typically because you can actually see your meal prepared (if you're watching) at the grill/bar/etc. I would almost rather eat at home just so I know that my food is clean, and is being prepared in clean surroundings. Guest guest
Well, I posted last week stating how I was finally able to get the script for helmet #2, which we went to Hanger for. He was diagnosed with mod-severe (which I kind of figured). Well, when they took the scan, the place in AZ where they are made said they wanted to be sure his sutures were not fused. I didn't even think of that because normally that is closer to 2 years (right?). Well, we went to his ped and got the xrays done to be sure. The ped called me today... he is fused. GRRRRRRRRR. If they had flippin listened to me months ago, I wouldnt have to have heard this! I had told them since the DAY he graduated from the CranioCap that he needed more correction. NOBODY listened to me!!! Now, after they finally decided to get off their butt and hear me, it's too late! Hanger won't do the band once fusion started! I'm so upset, blaming not only the docs, but myself as well. Had I pushed harder, it would be ok. Even just a tiny bit of correction would have made it worth it. Mothers are supposed to protect their kiddos.. I waited too long. Now they are sending him to nuerosurgeon... what for, got me. UGH Kim very very upset mom of 15 mo old Jaxson
Guest guest
I'm so sorry Kim. You did everything that you could, please do not blame yourself for any of this BS. How frustrating. Do you have any recent photos of Jax that you would care to share or did you already put some B & A's up? He sure is cute. I hope that you feel better soon. I wish there was something more that I could do! Sue Colin F., 13 mos. Guest guest
Gosh Kim, I'm so sorry! There was a recent post from Carol son of Cranial Tech describing how xrays aren't all that relevant at that age. It's brain growth that is the issue. How far away are you from CT? Maybe you could call and talk to the ortho there about this? I'm really sorry to hear that Hanger won't be albe to band him now! , mom to Hannah, DOCgrad Cape Cod, Ma > > Well, I posted last week stating how I was finally able to get the > script for helmet #2, which we went to Hanger for. Guest guest
Hello Kim I'm sorry to hear this. Please do not blame yourself. You did everything you could for Jax's plagio. Did you consider contacting CT? I saw 's post, and it sounds as if CT still bands after fusion has started. I wish there was more I could say.
