US--should I request one??--lining issue vs. scarring--more????'s

I am wondering why I can't go ahead and have some US done while

waiting for the HSG.....mid cycle or right at menstruation????

Wouldn't that tell something about the lining???

Also, I have just had the very depressing realization that I think my

issue might be lining, since I so have a little blood, that means my

cervix is open, right??? I have a few little blobs the first day,

then brown almost nothing for a few more. Can you have lining issues

without scarring??? Or is it a package deal? Any tidbits on this???
