Lynette, it's always a treat to hear from you! I thought of you much this past

weekend and wondered how you were feeling. Sorry you have had these mean, new

symptoms stalking you. Despite the benadryl (I can hardly get the top back on

the Nyqil when I take it, so I get that), you have expressed yourself

wonderfully, as usual. Thanks for sharing.

I'd love to hear more about how to throw an 'inconsequential bone'.  Sounds like

a fun psychological experiment to me.  : )

The trick is to make sure that what you're telling her " sounds " like it matters

to you but to make sure that, no matter how twisted it gets in her mind, it

won't touch you when it comes back to bite you.

It keeps her thinking she's " in the know " without me losing any of " me " to the

damaged drama machine.

Keeps her happy, keeps me happy and really - isn't this what most of us

want-that illusion of a happy middle-ground? I'm all for denial when I control

the smoke and mirrors that block the way to my psyche.

Nyquil: whoa baby!

I'm even more fogged in than I was (you have no idea how many times I have to go

back and re-write things to make them make sense...) but with the Benadryl, I'm

sorta like " awwww who cares... "

Reason #1,482 whey I don't drink: It would be too easy for me to not stop.
