The first name she read to me is the same that my physical therapist recommended because no one complains about him!!! and he is on my insurance plan!! and then I have a couple of names for backups! - There were only about 6 names on the list though - which, from what I've learned, doesn't surprise me!! Thank you for the file section to recommend finding a doctor this way!! now - it takes a while to actually change doctors. I think if I change now, it will go into affect by the 1st of july. It takes a month from the beginning of the month that you change it. I missed may - so this is changing it by the 1st of june - which changes it by july. so - I have to figure out how to change it - and then perhaps see if that new doctor can request my records ahead of time, so they have them. Hubby is content to not change...I guess until he has a problem!! Cris My local pharmacy I have a call in to my local pharmacy now. She will call me back. I asked what doctors prescribe Armour Thyroid. She said - your regular PCP would - I said, no, he won't prescribe it - she seemed surprised - she just sort of said OH! so she is running a list for me and will call me back. I called my insurance company on the phone, and she changed me as of today!! so now, I need to go to the new doctor to get one of their forms to sign to send to the old doctor's office, for my records. I could go to my old doctor's office and use their form, but I would rather use one from the new doctor's office - and mail it in!! LOL now I'm either frightened or excited!!!
