Re: & .. got his helmet today!!

Thank you both for your advice on how the helmet looks on him. I

kinda thought the same thing but his ortho said its OK. The pics of

him b4 my design was how the dr put it on. I have a hard time

getting is on his head cause he wiggles and moves everywhere. I dont

know how else to get it to sit right on his head. What harm will it

do if its on wrong or positioned wrong?

Amy,

I wanted to let you know that had a helmet that also rode

high and off her forehead. Her pediatrician wanted a new one made so

that it was lower on her forehead. But her ortho said those helmets

dont need to be low that it can actually be bad developmentaly

because it can block some of their vision. We did end up getting a

second one because the first fit poorly. You may want to ask to see

a different ortho at your place for a second opinion.

Just an FYI any helmet that has a correct fit will ever cause delays

or block a baby's vision.
