Guest guest
Along with many others, I had been hoping that Dr. Ponseti's visit to New York might help to get a major network interested in a story on the Ponseti method. From the video of Dr. Lehman that someone mentioned seeing in upstate New York, I would assume that NYU was making attempts at getting the news out as well. I tried a number of different groups that I could think of and here are the two who have responded so far. NBC Dateline - Thank you for your E-Mail to Dateline NBC. We are very pleased with the enormous response we are getting. Although we cannot write a personal note to each of you, we do print out our messages, look at them and discuss your comments and reaction, and we do sometimes quote your E-Mail on the air in our `feedback' segment. If your correspondence is in reference to a specific segment, that letter will be forwarded to the segment producer for review. If you have a specific story suggestion please send it to: STORY SUGGESTIONS Dateline NBC 30 Rockefeller Plaza New York, NY 10112 I then sent them some more information and video's to their story suggestions address, but haven't heard back yet. ABC 20/20 - Dear 20/20 Viewer: Thank you for your letter suggesting a story for 20/20. Given the high volume of letters we receive daily, we apologize for the delay in responding to your e-mail. As you know, each 20/20 broadcast features only three subjects which we must select from hundreds of ideas. Your e-mail was forwarded to the Story Editor. It has been read and discussed but unfortunately, it was not chosen to become one of our show segments. Thank you for being in touch with 20/20. We appreciate that you are thinking of us. Sincerely, The Story Editors ABC News 20/20 I haven't gotten a response back yet from Good Morning America, 60 Minutes groups or the New York Times. Someday, someone will tell the story. and (3-17-99)
