Guest guest
http://www.chiro.org/nutrition/FULL/Peripheral_Metabolism_of_Thyroid.html The drawings show that reverse T3 is not an identical molecule to regular T3 I wonder why it has been mentioned in other resources as being identical. -- Re: tryptophan , L-Tryptophan is the useable form of Tryptophan. You don't want D-Tryptophan, it is useless. And the DL-Tryptophan is a waste of money if you can get L-Tryptophan. You can get L-Tryptophan online, despite the supposed ban (which was due to bacterial contamination in a batch, not due to the tryptophan itself). If you're looking at it for mood improvement, it's metabolite 5-HTP is available in health food stores and is far cheaper than L-Tryptophan. If you do go with the L-Tryptophan, remember to take it with B6, otherwise it will not convert into Serotonin. -Lana > > Hi Mo > I thought they were different somehow, that the L tryptophan is > moleculary different so that it is legal to sell in the US whereas > straight tryptophan is banned due to that bad batch a few years ago > that made people sick. >

Guest guest
It is identical except for ONE molecule thta is opposite the same molecule on T3. Fits the same receptors but one is active one is not. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
Guest guest
: I am currently on growth hormone and when I use it I feel worse. I have way too much body fat for an ex swimmer and have started walking, biking (in the gym) and swimming. I cannot seem to reduce the body fat so I did a search on the relationship between growth hormone, cortisol and thyroid. I replaced cortisol for over a year. It seems using growth hormone increases the need for more cortisol. But when I used the HC I got much fatter, much much fatter. I still use HC several times a week, low dose but even when I completely went off HC I still cannot lose the weight in spite of eating less and exercising much more. In fact, I only lost 5 or 6 pounds So that is why I am reading this article. -- Re: tryptophan > > , > L-Tryptophan is the useable form of Tryptophan. You > don't want > D-Tryptophan, it is useless. Guest guest
technically not a molecule swap but is actually an iodine atom (iodo atom) position swap on the T3 molecule. -- Re: Re: [NTH-reverse T3 It is identical except for ONE molecule thta is opposite the same molecule on T3. Guest guest
This must be really fustrating for you as you are working so hard at losing the weight. Maybe someone can chime in with a solution as you must be doing a ton of research at this point. --- " C. Mannelli, Ed.D. Guest guest
http://members.aol.com/jefferiesw/ Well I am working on reading this. it makes more sense in light of my mercury poisoning. That may have crashed my adrenals and interfered with the growth hormone situation. -- Re: tryptophan > > > > , > > L-Tryptophan is the useable form of Tryptophan. > You > > don't want > > D-Tryptophan, it is useless. Guest guest
--- I also have mercury poisoning which has also trashed my adrenals, thyroid etc etc. There is apparently some pituitary damage also and problems with my growth hormone. The mercury poisoning has made everything screwy for me and nothing works as it should. Even replacing the necessary hormones wasn't making me feel any better and I have come to the conclusion that untiol I get the mercury out of my body nothing is going to work as it should. So am slowly chelating. If you also have this problem my advice would be to support your adrenals very very well and the thyroid too and don't expect anything to work as it should until you are free of the mercury. It affects enzymes, how they work, pathways and so many different things. In NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS , " C. Mannelli, Ed.D.
