I only use it outside. I am still confused re: how long to use Estrace.......is this a lifelong situation or can you wean yourself off and us other things like Replens? Guest guest
HI , The Estrace usage is to keep the tissue healthy, to feed and nourish it, it's not a bandaid type of fix like the Replens might be...(that's more for moisturizing like a lubrication would be. I use the E. twice a week topically, (Just a peasize amt. and gently massaged in and not let it lay on top of the tissue) now that I'm well as nourishment for the tissue to 'keep' it in good shape with it's elasticity and stretchability, tone, color etc... and think of it like we might use a moisturizer for the face, except for that area, *smile* and not a big deal to me. ; ) So just in 'my' opinion I'd say yes that maintenance is probably necessary with the E., I know it is for me, and If I forget for a few weeks or so, (crazy hectic life at times) I start to get tender again. I myself never noticed an odor of any type with it, but I also use a natural Testosterone cream (also used to keep the tissue stronger) and ocassionally with that I do.. but it's not offensive. We sure are all different, no doubt about that. Just my thoughts on it and how it works for me, (and has for over 4 yrs now) *smile* Dee~ ; )
