Guest guest
Amber, Where are you in SC? I'm in Florence. We went to CT in Charlotte. There are 2 STARband orthos near ton. I'm not sure if anyone on the board has used them recently. However, most will not band a baby until they are at least 3 months old. Also at such a young age she may grow out of it before reaching full correction (of course some correction would be better than none). Here is the info I found in the band database for SC providers. East Plastic Surgery 1300 Hospital Drive Suite 120 Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464 Dr. Kline Jr. M.D. (843) 849-8418, info@... www.orthomerica.com, http://www.ecplasticsurgery.com/index.html Floyd Brace Co Inc., 243 Calhoun St, ton, SC 29401 Hazard (843) 722-882 Sorry I can't help with the medicaid question. I'm sure medicaid would cover PT for the tort. It would be very helpful to start PT for the tort so the plagio doesn't worsen. Since she can't do tummy time this may be the one saving grace. mom to na DOC Grad 2/04 Tort Resolved South Carolina www.thefilyaws.com Amber All <amberlongall@...> wrote: Hello I am new here. A 2.5 month old child has been placed with my sister through the state. The child has pos. plag. and torticollis. We were told yesterday that the closest place for treatment is 4 hours away(Doc Band in Charlotte NC or Atlanta, GA) and that we will need to go once a week. I have two questions. Is there treatment available in SC and does Medicaid pay for this type treatment? Thanks,AmberFor more plagio info
