Guest guest
Amy, I can't see the pics either. I copy/pasted it and it doesn't work. Feel free to email me the pics. Guest guest
Amy, I was able to see the pictures in the link you posted, as well as in your album. I do see the " dent " you are referring to.... would you please refresh my memory about ? Was he a brachy baby? I didn't see any before and after photos in his album. Do you have anything you could post from similar angles to show the difference in appearance more clearly? I have read that it is possible for a helmet that is too small or doesn't fit anymore to worsen the headshape. Do you think this is the case here? You said his helmet seemed very much too tight; if you look at the inside, would it be restricting growth at the area where you are now seeing the dent? When Remy's head started " popping out " at about 5-7 months, it came out in bumps on either side of the back of her head, top and bottom. There was and remains a slight indentation area (area of less relief) between these two bumps to this day, even though overall her rounding was remarkable and we're happy with her progress. It was as if her head was growing and expanding but didn't quite have the oomf to drag out this one little, dollar-sized area. Do you think that the back of his head is popping out, with a flatter area lagging behind? Please keep us posted! Guest guest
Amy, I see that his head looks a little bumpy. Definitely do not put the helmet on if you think it 9s not fitting right. I hope you can see your orthotist soon to address your concerns. Sometimes the head does round out a little lumpy. Colin had brachy and like Remy also has an area in the back middle that hasn't quite popped out. The overall head shape is what I think is more important. Good luck and let us know.
