I've used tumeric before... it was dayglo orange going into mold. I almost

crapped my pants. Then it mellowed to a kindof peach color. Now it is tan.

No trace of yellow. Of course this wasnt' the only weird thing going with

that batch... it was very soft, and has remained so... I've gone over recipe

with a fine tooth comb and can't find the reason why... sometimes strange

things just happen.
