Guest guest
I see another thread on here today talk about obesity. I could stand to lose 30-40 pounds, but I am not morbidly obese. My weight gain came after I got sick, as I suspect is the case for many members on here. A a combination of medication and lack of exercise from multiple sites of tendinitis caused me to gain weight. The general public thinks " Obese people simply need to exercise more. " Oh, if it was only so simple. Our illnesses cause the weight gain, rather than the weight alone making us sick. When I see obese people, especially morbidly obese people, I have compassion.
