Guest guest
Hi folks. I've been pretty quiet for the last few days. I seem to be the only one here who doesn't watch Gilmore Girls, and didn't want to interrupt the flow of conversation. Then, too, how could I possibly compete with an earthquake? Yes, it's been quiet here on the Northern Frontier. The kids are happy and well-fed, my wife seems genuinely glad that I'm back from London, and it isn't yet cold enough to snow. Really, how much better does it get? Right now I'm in my office at work, waiting for the traffic to ease up enough to head home. The time change seems to have resulted in slower rush hours. Maybe people don't want to drive as quickly in the dark? One of the other advantages of staying late for work is that, because my computer has speakers and a sound card, I can pretty much play any music I want while I wait. I have some " unusual " tastes in music -- I confess I am having difficulty in making the transition to easy listening. But " after hours " at work I can play what I want, at a fairly serious volume, and not bother anyone else (my wife and children won't let me do that at home). How about everyone else -- do you listen to music, and if you do, what kind do you listen to? And do you find you are using your computer more than your stereo for music these days? Looking forward to the replies. Stay warm. Mike B P.S. Oh yes, the 54 refers to the number of days 'til Christmas.
