Guest guest
Hi , The name of the herb line is called Amazon Herbs. I came accross this line when I went to a Meditation conference and one of the people there was a Reiki Master who presented this and other products. Ever since my mother told me she had Diabetes, my heart went into a panic and since then I have been looking for Alternative treatments. I ordered their tea which is called the Shipibo treasure tea. It contains chanca piedra, jatoba, una de gato, chuchuhuasi, stevia, tahari (pau d' arco) and yerba mate. I was wonderful tea, good for digestive health, anti-viral prperties, energy and an all over body tonic. All of these herbs are taken from the Amazon Rainforest where the soil is rich and untampered with. It was fine for me to take to maintain good health, but I wanted to know what it could do for my mother. So I went to a recent conference they had in sdale Arizona about 2 weeks ago and was genuinly taken aback by their presentation. These were some of their medical presenters: Dr. Eldredge a chiropractic physician with over 22 years of experience in the healing arts Dr. A. Fleisher, M.D. etc. ( I say etc because he had a whole bunch of other letters behind his name) but he speicalizes in classical homeopathy, nutritional and botanical medicine, chelation therapy and general family medicine. Vida Dubinsky a nutritionist of over 25 years Christian Drapeau MS.c holds a masters degree in Neurophysiology and has spent the past 7 years studying the medicianal properties of blue-green algae. He has written a book " how amazon herbs work in the body " . This is an excellent source of information. Jim Hawver N.M.D (Natropathic Medical Doctor) has practiced Natropathic Medicine for over 14 years Kosey Ely a practitioner of Bhakti-yoga for more than 25 years Dr. Hanover, D.V. M ( has been a practicing veteranarian since 1991) **Yes, they have concluded that what works for us also works for animals Dr. Hegstrand Board-certified pathologist and preventative health care specialist. Medical Director of Integrative Healthcare athe the Blue Heron Academy in Grand Rapids, MI. She has authored many publications. This is only a brief list of the medical professionals who spoke of the effects of their herbs in their clinical practices. Some of the Allopathic Doctors say it took a while for them to open themselves to te possibility until they say the clinical evidence and until they gave them to their patients and say drastic results. This is the same for the animal practitioners as well. It was just an amazing conference, so when I got back I told my mother about it and we have decided to try it. Using the health pack designed to work on the 9 sytems of the body and using digestazon plus and also metabazon for the breaking down of complex sugars and the digestazon for optimal digestive health. We really don't seem to realize how much damage we do to our system when our food isn't properly digested. Metabazon contains (Pedra hume caa pata de vaca, sarsaparilla, stevia, cashew plant, artichoke leaf) Digestazon plus contains ( enzymes from natural plant substances : Proteases, protease 4.5, Bromelain, peptidase. Amylases, amylase, glucoamylase, invertase, malt diastase. Lipase. CereCalase, phytase, hemicellulase, beta-gluconase. Also contains the following herbs: Boldo, star Anise, pepermint, carqueja and orange bitters. You can contact Noella Blake @ or email Noella_blake@... and she can talk more with you about it. I am just learning about this myself and my mother and I are just in our beginning stages of trying this out. However, she may be able to explain it better. I have a bunch of literature that I am reading now. ---------------------------------
Guest guest
Hi Sedra, The nine systems of the body are: The skeletal system, the Digestive system, the Muscular system, the Lymphatic system, the Endocrine system, the Nervous system, the Cardio-vascular system, the Male/Female Reproductive system and the Urinary system. I came to believe what I believe about God because I am deeply spiritual and I do a lot of meditation. I also believe in some eastern medicine and practices. In Genesis we were prescribed only herbs to eat and we were told what herbs to eat. After the fall of man and the flood of Noah we were told basically to eat what we want. However, the original instructions was to let the herbs be as " meat " for us. So I believe many of the solutions lie in the consumption of " wild foods " . The Shipibo Indians in the Amazon Rainforest don't suffer from the these type of degenerative conditons. These consume these herbs as food. Their main problem is keeping their land and developing substantiating themselves economically. Not to mention in the Amazon Rainforest they are at the bottom of the food chain! I firmly believe if we feed the body the right foods, it will heal itself! My mother's blood sugar is already lowered, however we want to stablize this condition and hopefully erase this condition altogether and repair the damages it has already caused. So we will see what results we get in 3 months of continuous use. My mother is on the health pack that works on each of these systems, the health pack includes: Fiberzon: called the " intestinal broom " , inlcudes una de gato, sangre de drago, boldo, jatoba, slippery elm bark artichoke leaf, flax seed, psyllium husk, papaya leaf, camu camu, hibiscus flower, licorice root, fenugreekseed, oat bran, quebra pedra, sego palm. This is good for breaking down intestinal debris and sweeping it out. works and strengthens the entire digestive system Illumination: call the " all over body tonic " , includes una de gato, pau d'arco, suma, tayuya, fucus, artichoke, boldo, star anise, bitter orange, pedra hume caa, alfalfa, horsetail, muira puama, catuaba, carqueja, quebra pedra, jurubeba, yerba mate, cornsilk, passion flower, lemon balm, mulunga, espinheira santa, cajueiro, lemongrass, peppermint, pata de vaca, sarsaparilla, jatoba, chamomile, stevia, chucchuuasi, sangre de drago. This is a tonic for all the 9 systems providing what it needs to build and replenish. Sumacazon: called the " perisian ginseng " , includes suma, maca, muira puama, and stevia. This is good for the male/female reproductive system, high energy, the nervous system, and harmonizing the hormonal systems. Aquazon: includes Klamath lake blue-green alga (Aph. flos-aquae; AFA) and Fucus vesiculosus (kelp and bladderwrack) supports the immune and nervous systems, it contains all 21 Amino Acids, promotes mental clarity, weight management, promotes health tissue growth, lymphatic circulation, helps maintain a balance in blood glucose levels, promotes the migration natural killer cells. Shipibo Treasure Tea: includes Chanca piedra, jatoba, una de gato, chuchuhuasi, stevia, tahari (pau d'arco) and yerba mate. Good for the urinary system and all the other systems. Supports digestive and pulmonary health, antioxident, health blood pressure, increases macrophase activity and antiviral properties. Like the Illumintion this supports the entire body. Stevia: Is a plant that grows in Amazon. it contains Stevia and grapefruit seed extract. It is good for balancing the blood glucose and maintaing a health blood pressure. Good for the Cardiovascular system, " a recent study demostrated that the ability of sevioside and steviol to balance blood glucose is a result of their ability to directly stimulate the insulin-producing cells in the pancrease. " The grapefruit seed extract is good for its strong anti-oxident properties and anti-microbial activities. This health pack helps fortify the body's defenses and gives it the norishment not provided by daily food consumption. If you notice many of the herbs repeat themselves especially the stevia. It seems to be a necessity to good renal and cardiovascular functions. Here of some references Melis MS (1996) A crude extract of Stevia rebaudiana increase the renal plasma flow of normal and hypertensive rats. Braz J Med Biol Res29(5):669-675 Curi et al. Guest guest
Please let us know at the end of the three months the results of your alternative medicine trial. Also I'm interested in knowing is your mother taking any diabetes meds at all besides the alternative ones? And are you/she doing frequent testing? How often are you testing? Are you testing at all? What was her A1C last time it was taken? Does she have any diabetes related complications now? I'm sorry if you've talked about this before...my brain doesn't retain stuff like it used to, smile. Guest guest
I > use milk thistle as a tonic for my liver, , I ordered some milk thistle, along with my ALA order from iHerb, but I haven't been taking the milk thiste, as the first day I took it I had a severe headache... now that I've been taking the ALA twice a day with no problems, I'll add the milk thistle again. Hopefully, it's not an allergy causing the headache, as I know it's supposed to support the liver. Sandy H.
