Hmmmmmm, my white count was up for YEARS! They couldnt figure it out

for yrs. I had my gall bladder taken out and then things went back to

normal. Hahaha! My DRs werent doing their job. I had pain for yrs and

was seeking help. I hope they figure it out for you.

Jacquie,

I don't know what they want to test for or how high your count is, but

you should know that your white blood count elevates for almost any

immune system attack all the way down to bladder infections and the flu.

Some people have a continuous white blood cell elevation without any

accompanying illness.

Could be any number of things Jacquie, often a simple infection can

cause that. It also depends on what kind of the white cells are

elevated and if they are showing abnormalities. Keep us posted. I'm

glad you're finding some relief from the firbromyalgia also. I've

had some tough times in the past with it and I'm glad you are able to

ask for help now.

When you find out, let me know. I have another on-line friend who was

tested this summer for leukemia. For the second time! They still

can't figure out why her white blood count is up. You both might be

having the same problem.

It could very well be nothing...Not saying it is...but stress is a nasty

little bugger and can cause a variety of physical symptoms.....
