Guest guest
Dont forget to mention South Australia, where you can sample the best wines in the world. ie, the Barossa Valley. Don't forget the Flinders Rangers either, then there's Coober Pedy, et al.... Try and see the real Australia, that is not the tacky tourist destinations. Check out http://www.sacentral.sa.gov.au/ AVAGOOWEEGEND! Adam ajmurdey@...www.chariot.net.au/~ajmurdey OZ update Just thought I should let you all know I have over 40 people reply so far ( including partners ) as being interested in joining the Aussies down under in June 2002. No problems with the number of people we have plenty of room down here . I did read that some of you would like to go see a few other places while you down here. We anticipated this also, and will be sending all those interested in attending a list of LINKS that will guide you to the MUST SEE areas of Australia. eg Great Barrier Reef, Ayres Rock, Kakadu, Sydney Harbour and my Speedos (Got ya hahaha). We do have a DOMESTIC airport right here in my town. I can also put you in touch with travel agents here in Surfers Paradise that can guide and advise you in making decisions to travel further around OZ. They are used to dealing with me, and being deaf they set everything up very smooth for me to travel to Las Vegas this year. Its important to remember Australia is as big as mainland USA so take that into account. If you are interested in coming to OZ with other crewbies please reply to me MARCUS marcusmc@... so I can send you info updates. All the best from me from your tomorrow, MARCUS
Guest guest
Sorry I am slow in responding Marcus, but and I are DEFINATELY interested in coming and hope to bring Lee as well! Hey Marie, since you have only ONE ticket to buy, how about Lee traveling with you? He is an EXCELLENT companion and has been a little gentleman to me for years! Do you wanna see a picture? Guest guest
That would only be fair, huh Marie? I like the idea of meeting in LA too! What about the NF2 Crew shirts that we have? That is a good design and mine is navy so that would be easy to spot! Donna H

Guest guest
Marcus, Just a thought, (dunno about myself and coming) but instead of referring this to an NF2con, which is Pat Dillon's deal...some could be confused cuz there will still be the NF2con in Vegas or somewhere in the US....so, I thought maybe a diff name for less confusion with everyone....maybe 'NF2OZ' .. lol - dunno but its a thought - I'm sure you have a better idea/name. -Earl
Guest guest
NFG2 OZ Adventure it is, I like NF2 OZ Venture for short. > Marcus, > > Just a thought, (dunno about myself and coming) but instead of referring this > to > an NF2con, which is Pat Dillon's deal...some could be confused cuz there will > still be the NF2con in Vegas or somewhere in the US....so, I thought maybe a > diff name for less confusion with everyone....maybe 'NF2OZ' .. lol - dunno > but its a thought - I'm sure you have a better idea/name. > > -Earl > > > >
Guest guest
Hi Earl Beat you to that one , its called the NF2 OZ-Adventure, has been for a while. Thanks > Marcus, > > Just a thought, (dunno about myself and coming) but instead of referring this > to > an NF2con, which is Pat Dillon's deal...some could be confused cuz there will > still be the NF2con in Vegas or somewhere in the US....so, I thought maybe a > diff name for less confusion with everyone....maybe 'NF2OZ' .. lol - dunno > but its a thought - I'm sure you have a better idea/name. > > -Earl
Guest guest
maybe 'NF2OZ' How about "NF2 Crew Down Under" on the back and we could have "OZcon 2002" on the front? That would cost more, though. And I don't think that I could do that kind of thing. We'd have to go "outside of the Crew" for that. But it's neat? And, heck, the group of us might only be able to get together there just this once for a long time. I say we go forward with getting something more complicated than I could do. I could still do the nametags if you want them. June
Guest guest
That sounds logical. Guest guest
June, It is known as NF2 OZ Adventure already it is sealed in concrete. I'll give ya a kiss when you get here. .. where the parties never stop. (hic) Re: OZ update maybe 'NF2OZ' How about "NF2 Crew Down Under" on the back and we could have "OZcon 2002" on the front? Guest guest
FYI - THIS IS A VERY LONG EMAIL ( June, It is known as NF2 OZ Adventure already it is sealed in concrete. I'll give ya a kiss when you get here. .. where the parties never stop. (hic) Okie dokie...I can work with that. "NF2 OZ Adventure"....hmmmmm. I think I can do that. I think I can...I think I can... (sound familiar?? - to those with kids or the young at heart ) Hmmm... I feel like a designer ) I see (does OZ have "state" colors?) a colored T-shirt (do you want short sleeve or long or both?) with "NF2 OZ Adventure" diagonally across the front in script/cursive/handwriting. Maybe an outline of Australia (I think I'll need help with this part)? The color of the writing depends on the color of the shirt. We should all get the same color so that it's easily recognizable in the HUGE LA airport. And it should be eyecatching. If you want to go ahead with it (and we should get it done before we leave so that we can wear our shirts to the airport), I'll need your vote on the shirt and the writing. Let me try to make a sample of what we want before anyone gets gung ho about it. I'm hoping that I can do it. But, it's possible that we'll have to get it done professionally. If I do it, FYI, and for voting, the place that I can order the shirts from would be Hanes. I get the flier in the mail. They have something called a beefy-t T-shirt. They advertise a lot of colors: LIGHT COLORS sangria (pink) white sand stone blue lime natural (off-white) ash aquatic blue stone green DARK (ish) COLORS forest green cardinal navy royal blue gold red black purple orange The current flier lists the prices as of now (this summer 2001). Adult long sleeve is $9.99 each if you buy 2 or more of the same style # (type, not size). FYI, THERE IS NO LIME, AQUATIC BLUE OR SANGRIA FOR THE LONG SLEEVE. Adult short sleeve is $6.99 each if you buy 2 or more of the same style # (type, not size). Sizing for adult shirts is M (37-40, woman's 10-12); L (42-44, woman's 14-16); XL (46-58, woman's 18); XXL (50-52, woman's 20). For kids, they have a short sleeve beefy-t for $4.99 each. Again, you have to buy 2 or more of the same style # (type, not size). Sizes for kids are XS (2-4), S (6-8), M (10-12), L (14-16), XL (18-20) Remember that these are kids sizes, not adult). But the colors are limited to: white natural gold red cardinal forest green royal blue navy purple ash black Well, what do you think? Do you want to try this? Maybe we can do it on contingency. I can try it and if it works, GREAT!! If not, then we can order outside. HMMM??? June
Guest guest
June, Queensland is the State where we are having the OZ Adventure - the States colour is Dark Red (maroon) our national colours are green and gold (more towards yellow) with the dominant colour Gold with green lettering. The colours I have used are straight font colours and are very close to the original. That will give you something to work with. - waiting for that KISS............ Guest guest
I vote lime because it would stand out; and I would say short sleeve, but Marcus could maybe advise if this is best or if we should get a long sleeve too?
