Guest guest
Hi All, had her pre-op appointment at UCLA yesterday. It took a grueling 5 hours to finish, most of it sitting and waiting in various places. (Turned out we didn't even need to see the one office, but they only figured that out after we had been waiting for 45 minutes!) Anyway, they are proceeding with surgery on Friday, even with having had Strep Throat last week. is still tiring very easily and I don't know if this is recovering from illness last week, or the sinus infection? also has an on-going cough. Since she has never had the " CF cough " I am unsure of what the cause is. For example, does Pulmozyme cause more coughing? She is doing it regularly this month, and I wondered. Have any of you had experience with increased coughing due to Pulmozyme? Best wishes to all, E (mother of , 11 wcf, and , 3 nocf)
Guest guest
hI THERE,i AM HOLDING YOU AND YOUR SWEET rACHAEL IN MY PRAYERS.......SURGERY will go well. I am very sorry it was such a " hard " day. Yes, I have been told by many ----and the literature says there is a possiblity for a cough --it generally goes away shortly after..week or two . Others on the list , I am sure you'll hear what they had. I just know what the literature and folks have said. I believe that might be why the docs there aren't as worried about that. At any rate.....best to you all. Love heading your way too. LOVE & HUGS, GRANDMOMBEV Ready for Surgery, I Guess Hi All, had her pre-op appointment at UCLA yesterday.
