Guest guest
Hi Lori. I have tried that and aside from it not wroking for us, it also would develope a nasty smell from 's head sweating. I found a link that shows a sleep wedge thing developed by a doctor to prevent Plagio http://www.sleepshaper.com/ check it out. It seems to cost alot, but had I seen it 8 months ago this one looks like it might have worked for us. mom to -DOCbanded 11/18/04 > > Hello Group- > > I just got my One Step Ahead catalog in today's mail and I found > something interesting. Guest guest
Hi .... Thanks for your response. I checked out your site about the sleep shaper. I will pass the info along to my sister, due to have her first baby in April, whom I am trying to educate about plagio. I appreciate your info to me. Someone else said something about odor with the one from One Step Ahead. It didn't work for you either, huh? This is all good to know for future babies!!! Thanks again! By the way.....how is doing? She was DOCbanded the same day my son received his helmet! We have seen such a dramatic change already with him! His is due to see the orthotist on Monday for an adjustment and check up on his progress. Guest guest
's head is realy lookin good now. It's not so flat, and strange looking. Even my husband was impressed by the change. The only reason we knew about the DOCband was because my sister is a RN who works in the NICU at a big hospital and also has a friend that went threw Plagio with her daughter who was also DOCbanded. Had it not been for them I don't know where we would be. I have called several doctors and no one seems to beleave it is a problem or beleaves that the bands/helmets work. As if thousands of pics from kids who have had wonderful correction meen nothing to them. I am glad that your sister will be well informed by you. I wanted banded A.S.A.P but like I mentioned the doctor didn't seem to care about it. Best of luck to your sister on her new baby, and happy rounding to Ashton. & > > > > > > Hello Group- > > > > > > I just got my One Step Ahead catalog in today's mail and I found > > > something interesting.
