Guest guest Posted October 1, 1999 Report Share Posted October 1, 1999 Joy and Mark You know I was reading about something called Thermogesis (I think that's what it was) yesterday--I can't remember much about it now but now that you mention the body heat--I have to admit I've noticed it but I am having other menopausal symptoms and I at the right age (49) so I just assumed it was hot flashes. Thats why I didn't say anything to Mark--I didn't figure that could be the cause for him. I'd be sitting in a room, and go from comfortable to sweating buckets in about 10 seconds. LOL. And I'm DEFINITELY too young for menopause (I'm only 25). I just figured it had to be diet related somehow, and tried not to worry. I like your theory!! I sure wish your dr's could figure that out! I have been doing good ever since my little stay (BIG bill!) at the hospital. Luckily, I guess, it wasn't even cholangitis! It was nasty however. My doc wasn't even sure what exactly it was until Marc got as sick as I was the next night. They let me go the next morning, but I had to stay with my in-laws so as not to get sick again. Hope you guys are doing okay. I am going to TRY to check in with the group once in a while. Never seems to be enough time in the day... Guest guest Posted May 15, 2004 Report Share Posted May 15, 2004 Hi Janie: We had a very nice vacation, the ship was fun and the kids (and especially ) loved it. No cooking and the entertainment was right on board. We're glad you are feeling better, Yea, I'm still sick but feeling somewhat better. I've been seeing a new GI and I've been on some new meds. EGD showed some ulcers in my duodenum and I have a CT on Monday. I will be going to sdale on June 4th to see my Hep. and discuss liver and PSC issues.
