Guest guest
That damn sitter gets on my nerves!!!!! By the way I'm venting. He knows f*cking everything, and thinks he owns everything in my house. Everytime he is here he is on my computer, and he doesn't ask, he just goes on here whether we are here or not. I got home early from work tonight. I planned on working out, and then going on-line so I could catch up on my messages. I get done working out and I had to wait 45 minutes before I could get on MY computer. It not right! He just left, thank god. I told him don't download sh*t on my computer, it bogs it down too much and I'm not going to pay another $130 to get the stupid think fixed again!!!!! So what does he do.....well lets see, just about everynight I have to delete pictures of girls that he downloads on my computer, he just downloaded a new game he just bought tonight. I will be so mad if he crashes my computer. Or puts a virus on it. Then he bitched at me just a few minutes ago because had to give him a ride home and he wanted to use my blazer instead of his Jeep. I told him that was fine as long as he thinks there is enough gas in it. It's already on orange. It takes a quarter tank of gas everynight to go to work and back. I didn't have time before work to fill up. Well the sitter gets on my case telling me I can't let it get that low now that it's starting to get cold out or it won't start. HELLO, I'm not dumb I know this, after all I didn't just get my damn license. arggg! <sigh> I can't wait until I can find a new sitter or stay at home!!!!!!! Thanks for the vent, I needed that! Guest guest
Oh man oh man. (( What if you took the keyboard with you to work? ;D The mouse, too...I'm serious. Put them in your trunk or under a seat. I would be very upset that he is, er, looking at girls, when he is supposed to be taking care of Mark! > I can't wait until I can find a new sitter or stay at home!!!!!!! Good luck!!! -Sara. Guest guest
Tina, Can't you set the computer up to need a password so he can't access it? How about a child lock, like Net Nanny so he can't download with the the authorization code and he can't use net unless you have put him on as a user? Guest guest
> Why is he on the computer instead of BABYSITTING? > > Just asking. > Because he is lazy and I suppose he thinks it's perfectely alright to do that. I think too because he is a 'friend' that he thinks he gets special rights. Ya right. If I knew I had a back up babysitter I would really get firm on the rules. But if I do that he will quit. He is too lazy to work a real job! I have even told him on nice days to take Mark outside so he can run off some of his energy. The only time that happens is when I'm home or when watches him. is laid off last week and this week so he has been there to watch Mark is so nice. It is actually a voluntery lay off and he took it. His unemployment check is only about $100 less a week than his normal check. And with him home I save $100 a week for a sitter. And Mark is better off with being home, so it all evens out. And besides that it gives a chance to go hunting. Tina W.

I was going to go on-line tonight and try to find something like that where I could block him from downloading anything. Is it something you have to pay for or is there a place I can get it from for free? If you do have to pay for it do you know how much? This sounds exactely like what I've been needing. Do you have any more info on this or know where I can look up more info? Thanks Tina W.
Guest guest
I think you can download Net Nanny. You can completely block his access to the net by installing it and not giving him and ID! And, without knowing your 'administrator' password and answers to 2 questions that you pre-select, he can't even pretend to be you and get them to help him by calling them! I just bought a copy locally, but try searching it by it's name if you want to just download it right away. I paid $30 for it, which is pretty standard.
