If so you might get pain in it if the flight hits bad turbulence. If you are aware of the possibility it should help-i though my throat was going to bursth the first time it happened. I didn't have a goiter when I was last examined but I think I might have one now - but I don't know how to feel for one correctly. I wear flight socks when I fly and have found that they really help a lot. The thing that I don't handle well is sitting down most of the time, I have a hard enough time getting up out of the armchair at home when I have been sitting for only about 20 minutes.
