It's painful and stressful and will no doubt place additional stress on you and increase your pain. For your own sanity and health,please let her go and she will either come around eventually or not, but you can not control what she is going to do. If she does call, honesty is best, but you know that. Just prepare yourself for you upcoming surgery. I wish you the best. Lynnw I am sorry to hear about your recurring cancer. It sounds like they caught it earlier so I hope everything turns out for the best. My thoughts are with you both. Death is not the greatest loss in life.
