Guest guest
Thanks for input on all. My son was (let me polish the halo) recycling for a hearing dog for someone totally deaf; now I am giving serious consideration to this, may be should get one? I never gave alot of though to smoke alarms, etc but it is extremely important... I'd like to ask another question if anyone knows, my 13 yr old severe loss son will NOT go to bed at night. He wanders all through the night, long after I am in bed. He says he cannot sleep. then, of course, since he can't hear an alarm, I have to wake him up in the a.m. by almost physically dragging him out of bed; as he is solid and getting bigger than me, this is becoming quite a task and not a very good way to have to start the day. I guess I am still venting.... Debbie
Guest guest
I had a lot of trouble getting Petya out of bed in the morning. We got an alarm that has a bed shaker and a light flasher. This wakes her up. You might try this. I like the idea of a dog too and may look into this.
