Dear Ms. Katurah:

I think it is time to go to the doctor or to the ER.  I had uncontrollable

vomiting and diarrhea last year at about this time and ended up in the ER and

then a 6 day hospital stay for food poisoning.  If there is no way to get to a

doctor, then try to stay hydrated as best you can.

I hope you are feeling better soon!

Ms. Katurah,

NO whining, just throw up. No, you probably caught a virus, I did this and got

a gastroenteroritis virus with the very same symptoms except I do not smoke.

You need to get some anti nausea medicine. Benadryl can be used as an over the

counter medication that also treats nausea along with allergies.

So, Benadryl for the nausea and anti diarrhea medicine. Clear liquids, rice,

crackers soup. Shaking I had came from getting a fever and chills and they went

down after three days and I had just gotten over the shingles and I broke out

again so she that also.

Like I said, it took me three weeks. I hope you get better soon. Watch and do

not get dehydrated. Feel better soon. Fever will cause a headache.

Healing thoughts sent your way. Have you recently taking anything new

supplement, medicine wise? If it is viral, or bacteria a good probiotic would

help, like pearls. Hope whatever it is, ends soon for you.

I recently had several days of vomiting and learned that some sort of intestinal

and stomach flu is going around my area. Schools have even closed for several

days because of it.

Stop smoking, for your own good and for the health of others. Keep a bucket to

vomit in beside you and hope you do not get diarrhea.

You are not a baby! Vent all you need to. Do you have IBS? Have you had any

scopes recently? Make sure that you do not get dehydrated because it will make

you sicker. If you do not have anything for nausea then you can get WalMart's

brand of motion sickness pills and they will help. My husband and I both use

them when we get nauseous. If you cannot hold anything down for more than two

days you need to get to a doctor so they can give you fluids.

Hope you feel better soon,

Hugs,

SHELL

This sounds just awful! Have you been to your PCP? Sure seems like there should

be something that would help you be more comfortable. At least as comfortable as

possible when dealing with chronic pain!

Please take care of yourself and let us know what's up.

stomach really hurts with my throat. I am vomiting. I am very very dizzy and not

because I am blond, muscle cramping, I have severe headaches and one goes one

way, the other one goes another way. I get severe itching of my back. No rashes.

This means that I am sick with something other than PAIN.

Aloha Ms. Katurah!

I'm so sorry that you are dealing with this on top of your already " chronic

pain " . As we all know, the last thing we need (among many others) is to deal

with some sort of " bug " along with what some of us are already barely coping

with. I wish you well and can only suggest one thing. Although being Wiccan, you

may not consider doing this. For what it is worth, here is my suggestion, even

though it is a little late if this is what you have.

Last weekend, my wife and I got our " new seasonal " flu shot for the new

strain(s) of flu that are supposed to be going around. If you have any type of

medical insurance, most of these are absolutely free. From what I've heard about

these " new " strains of flu that seem to mutate now, they are extremely

debilitating and can even cause a person to die. Not that I believe anyone who

can pick up a telephone of some kind would, it just happens.

However, since you are in the thick of whatever it is that you have, I don't

think a " flu vaccine " would do much good right now. I would strongly suggest

that if what you have isn't any of these types of flu's to get a vaccine as soon

as you feel anywhere near normal. Plus I'd suggest to anyone that hasn't gotten

one yet to do so.

Just thought I'd mention this for whatever it is worth. I'd also like to stress

what has already been suggested to you many times:

PLEASE DRINK PLENTY OF WATER! (I'm not yelling at you or anyone, just wanted

that to stand out, OK?) Did you know that you are already dehydrated when you

feel like you need a drink? Honest.

Please take good care,

Wayne
