Guest guest
One of my guilty pleasures is my iPhone. I don't have a landline. I have an app on the iPhone that lists my meds and allergies as well as my doctor's information. I have a list of all the meds plus vitamins and minerals that I take. I can send it to my email and print it out from the desktop computer. It helps to have something to give the doctor. I used to keep a list of my mom's meds (before she passed) that we could give the doctor. Christie in AZ Katurah wrote: > I found out something that works quite well. Guest guest
I would not be without my iPhone as I have not got a land line either. I bought myself a medical bracelet and a necklace which has all my details on x > Christie wrote: > One of my guilty pleasures is my iPhone. I don't have a landline. Guest guest
I have done the same thing and carry them with me as well... Two actually, one in my wallet and one in another part of my purse. You are right too, it helps when you can't remember everything as well as for emergencies. I didn't put my social security number though. :-) Love, Becky in NM Ms. Katurah wrote: I wrote down all of my information on a piece of paper and I keep it in my wallet for emergency info written on the top of it. Guest guest
Good idea. I also have a container that is magnetizer on my microwave where EMTs can see it. It contains all my meds, docs and number, medical info and even the preferred hospital. That way all my medical info is available in the event I am not able to communicate this info. BB and gentle hugs, Tami > MsKaturah wrote: > I wrote down all of my information on a piece of paper and I keep it in my wallet for emergency info written on the top of it. Tami I also have a memory stick with the information on it. You can do a table in Word with the labels at the top so you can change it and it is is more readeable and tape on fridge. I would also wear your med alert bracelet or necklace at at all times. If you are on pain medications, all Doctors need to know or EMTs or you can go into withdrawal. Also, if you are a previous stroke patient makes sure they know also as the sooner they get the stroke med in you the more reversable the effects. Put DNR if you do not want to be resuscitated. Make sure you have something in your wallet that states is your POA, Power of Attorney, if you cannot speak for yourself. Bennie > >

He is a software engineer and has some ideas for it also. He used the calorie count program on his I phone also and lost thirty pounds. I use my pain dairy for that purpose and update it and print it out monthly. Bennie
