I haven't heard of there being a connection between mito and clotting problems

or them occurring at a certain age. It may turn out there is in the future, you

never know.

Thanks E.... for the tip on Glucosamine being loaded with Vitamin K. I

guess I should maybe check to see if there is a clotting problem in the

family tree. Don't recall one being mentioned. Sure don't want to bring

one on. My next concern would be---what age do people start to show a

problem with blood clotting and they need to go on blood thinners??--It

seems to me, that it is a possible common problem with age. I'm throwing

WOW potato chips would have a warning label. Darn, they said junk food can

kill ya---quess they were right :-{. What is Olestra?---an oil?

Thanks Again

Take Care :-)

Hey

I was thinking that with old age, in general, that I seem to hear people

(old folk) going on blood thinners because of clotting problems. But I

could be wrong.

Thanks

Usually people are put on blood thinners if they have had a stroke or heart

problem. There are many lucky people who never have to be on them. Mito

folks can have both stroke and heart issues (but not always), so many of us

have to be on them.

Olestra is a " fat " that isn't digested and is suppose to make a fatty food,

fat free.

yes, olestra is an oil and i discover the WOW issue by reading the label i'm

a fanatic\ about that because i also have hyperhomocystenimia which is a

clotting problem on top of the mito and a stroke etc.........the list is

truly endless. it sufficinet most adult two take a baby aspirin a day if

they are up there with age with arthritis etc but do not take anything

without check with you doc first include aspirin. you cannot give aspirin

two children it can give them Reye Syndrome which can kill them. you can see

how thick you blood is by ask you doc two run a simple PT/PTT blood test.
