I have finally found something that works--I take 30mg Oxycontin every 8 hours. Along with that I take a 325 mg Tylenol (generic). I had to stop taking Percocet because I was taking in so much Tylenol that it affected my liver. I also use the Lidoderm patches on my back during the day. And I use large Tiger Balm patches at night to help me sleep. Another thing that helps is my inversion table and light exercise, i.e. riding stationary bike and pelvic thrusts. When I do something that hurts my back I use several large ice packs to lay on in my bed. I'm not pain free, but I can get around a little more and actually go to the grocery store for a quick shop.
