Guest guest
that is fantastic news cecilia! congratulations! michelle Potty trained GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today I was with Dessirée making her company to go to sleep. All of a sudden she stood on the bed with her feet apart and told me " Pee is gonna came " . I thought she had already pee on the diaper while she was telling me that. Any way, I check the diaper and it was dry. I asked her " do you want to pee? " and she answered, " yes, yes, yes " . Uncertain (because lately she is asking for stuff just when I put her to bed to delay the sleeping issue, she is manipulating me, which I thank God -great advance), I told her let's go to pee, hold on. I took her to the bathroom, help her with the pajamas and the diaper, she sat herself on the potty and voala she pees. She was so happy. I am even happier because I didn't even was trying to trained her because I was waiting for the summer to star. Last summer I tried with no luck, she would go on schedule but if I forgot to take her she would never asked. Since summer is coming soon, I bought her potty books and she was interested especially in one about a little girl that has many details and very graphic pictures, because of the book she's tried to see (on the mirror) the hole on her butt, just like the little girl does it. During the last few weeks, she has showed interest on the potty and every time I change her, she asks to sit on the potty but most of the time she does not pee because she has already peed on the diaper. SO WHAT DO YOU THINK???????????????? Cecilia from Perú, mom to Dessirée (3y 3m old, some autistic traits,no dx yet) Lovely husband
Guest guest
Yay Dessirée!!!!! That is great. maybe she is ready. Mark has ask to go on the potty a few times but all he does is strip down to nothing sit on the potty and say all done. And that's it. So far to going pee in the potty. >>>>> Since summer is coming soon, <<<<<< Oh I'm so jealous. We are just starting to get cold weather. And I'm sitting here shivering at my computer! Tina W. I had been trying to potty train her but she was clueless. Apparently the lightbulb went on in her head because she came running into the bathroom one day and said 'ma ge up, ma ge up.' (translation for those who don't speak gibberish, Mom Get UP!) So I did. She pulled down her pull up on her own (something she'd NEVER done) sat on the potty and peed. She had maybe a dozen accidents after that but she was the EASIEST of my children to potty train. I was ready to choke my NT daughter and son before they learned.
