Guest guest
Hi all, Boy I really didn't mean to start any contraversy about OT's here, the reason I turned the flu shot down was because of my concern about Aidan having a fever with his band. I figured that everyone would assume that, but noted it was OT because I was looking for guidance that wasn't 100% directed towards the band itself. I just wanted to apologize for any miscommunication. Also wanted to let you all know that just days after I turned the shot down, I can no longer get one. I called my Ped's office today and they are OUT of flu shots, they have reserved whatever they had for children with compromised immune systems. Since Aidan doesn't go to day care he's not high risk. Thanks all for being so supportive. in CT --- In Plagiocephaly , kelly <docbandbabies@s...> wrote: > HI everyone, > First I am sorry if I clogged the board with my OT post about my horrible day, I just had to vent to someone and I knew you guys would know how I was feeling...overwhelmed. Many parents do not know they should get the shots for their infants and many more do not realize they can cause fevers. THis is very relavent (sp?) to parents with a child in a band. We all know fevers and bands do not mix. > Maybe if we want to cut down on general parenting and child health questions we should let everyone know of a good parenting site or infant health site to go to. Maybe those sites could be posted in the links section and sent out to all new members like the posting etiqettes are....just a suggestion. > > in Texas > Mom to 9/7/03 DOC Grad 7/04 > Plagio/Brachy/Tort > > > > > > Visit 's Web Page at: > www.babiesonline.com/babies/k/kathryn9703 > Make sure to Sign Her guestbook!!! > Banded Baies Are Beautiful :-)
