I really meant to mention to you the other day, then forgot, that its ok to

use the pari baby mask with the Tobi. Thats what we do, anyway. The pari

baby mask doesn't have those holes in it and if you have her open her mouth

to take the breaths, it should be ok. I guarantee she'll get more of the

tobi that way than with the dang pesky nose clip! (a size 2 should fit her

just fine...)

and , you asked about masks. For , I would also highly recommend

the Pari baby mask, prob. size 2 as well. If you don't want to hold it or

have her hold it, though, you might try the Pari Bubbles the Fish mask. I

know that resp. has them on the 3rd floor b/c we got one when we were in with

Mallory last time, so maybe you could ask Lee (the CF NP at clinic) to snatch

one for you? hehehe Otherwise, they are not expensive at all, just order

one from Grandma Bev's pharmacy. (the fish one has a strap, but I still

think that the pari babies work better, you get a better seal and since the

meds are aimed straight in their mouth other than up from the bottom, I think

they work better than the cheap throw away types. ) However, if you

absolutely think the cheap throwaway types work ok for you since you don't

use Tobi or Pulmozyme yet, then we have 3 cases at work one of the nurses

ordered by accident!!!!! (really, 3 dang cases of Pedi masks and disposable

neb cups, geez, we don't have anyone small enough for that dang mask at

work!!!) Anyway, so if you want some cheap throw away ones, holler and I

will get some to you! This goes for anyone else on the list, too. ( (I still

recommend the Pari LC Plus neb cups and the pari baby or fish masks,

though.....we just love their durability and the kids seem to like the

control that goes with those masks....)

, please keep us informed on ..... does Dr. R. know she isn't

any better? Its approaching the time where I'd be demanding a sinus CT.....
