Yes, but remember...your monitor only averages the times you've measured your

BG. Even if you do that ten times a day (which you probably don't) there's

all the times in between that you aren't testing. That's what shows up on

your A1C. Vicki

i take the one pill in the morning. last nite, since my Bp was so high, i

took a second to lower it. i've only had to do that on a few occasions.

just got up and need to test, and then call and make appt. with my gal. pat

actually, on good days, i measure about a dozen times. i'm hoping that will

stop soon, 'cause that's pretty exxpensive. pat

Here are examples of meals that I eat and my sugar is always 120 or

below..

Chicken tenders baked with balmatic vinegar and xtra virgin olive oil

Salad with homemade creamy garlic salad dressing

or

BLT salad

Crisp bacon, mixed romain lettuce, bit of tomato and dressing of mayo

and a little pepper and cream to thin..yum

Or

Cod baked with a bit of butter...and mushrooms

Or

Lean ground beef patty with a bit of cottage cheese on top and a side

salad

Or

Cheeseburger salad: ground beef cooked, chedder cheese, red onion,

tomato all in a dressing of mayo and a bit of mustard...

If I spaz out and need a sweet I may eat a bit of cottage cheese with

splenda...it helps..

I will try to think of more ..sus

I sure wish people were

into sending in their meals and bg's. I don't have much of a sense if I

am

doing well or not. I'm also on the lookout for good food ideas ;-)
