Guest guest
My dad has been ill for many years. He had a massive heart attack in 96 and has just been going down hill since. His last appt in Dec 07, the doctor told him that he only had 10% usage of his heart and that a transplant would never happen in time. Since his diabetes in getting worse, a transplant would be out of the question anyway. So, he was told that he had maybe 3 months to live. He called me Wed. He sounded horrible and began crying almost immediately. Now, I have not seen or heard my dad cry since his father passed away in 77. In the last 6 months, I've seen him cry alot. He wants me to come up and begin taking his possessions and bringing them back to my house. He only lives about 5 hours away and is afraid that if something does happen, my not so honest cousin with whom he lives, will try and steal and hide some of his coin collection before I can get there. And believe me, he would do just that! It was very hard for him to call me and ask me to come get that stuff ASAP. His mother is still alive and it looks like she will bury her son before he buries her. Not suppose to happen that way. As for me, I have been preparing for this for several years now. Since Dec last year, I've been preparing even more for it. I won't break down and need everyone's eyes here to read my weeping words until after he dies I'm sure, but just in case, I wanted you all to be prepared! So, with hubby having another hernia, which is gonna delay his new job and force us to use our savings, to having to prepare for my father's death, I don't see how things could possibly get worse. Probably shouldn't say that b/c I'm sure they could repossess the car or the house or other terrible things can happen. But if Akiba keeps sending those good vibes, I don't look for any of those things to happen! LOL Hugs again to everyone!!!
