Guest guest
Hi Marcy, Thanks for sharing your experience. My daughter hasn't had her casting appointment yet (1 week to go!), but I was able to reschedule the appointment so that she will be fitted 10 days later. The casting appointment is now later than it was originally scheduled for, but there is less time between casting and her receiving the band. I probably will call to see whether it's in earlier than that - maybe we'll get lucky and it will be ready in a week. I wish I wasn't so anxious, but I can't wait for her to start wearing the helmet. Then I can relax a little because I'll know the correction has begun (hopefully!!!). Leecowtroy8 <cowtroy8@...> wrote: Hi Lee. I may be writing you AFTER your casting. I am a little behind reading posts lately. Anyway, Jusin was 5 months with his first band. So we were one of the fortunate ones to get the band in a week. But the second time around was 7 months. We were told it would be 2 1/2 weeks in between casting and fitting. , our clinician, knew us, and she knew that we really, really wanted it in sooner. She said unfortunately she couldn't do anything about it. She said to call in a week to see if it came in earlier. So I did. And I called every day after that. Fortunately my annoying calls amounted to success. 's band came in about 1 1/2 weeks after the casting. So moved up our fitting appointment. So I would say just to call a few times since it may come in early, and they just might not call you since you are scheduled to come in anyway.
