poor fitting helmet pictures

Hi Everyone,

I decided to post pictures of Kayden's helmet and how poorly it

fit in case anyone was wondering if their child's helmet wasn't

fitting properly. The pictures are posted in the FILES section in

the folder GETTING A GOOD FIT. Our provider (Hanger in White Plains,

NY) is making a new helmet at no extra charge - the first one was

$2500 denied by insurance {{BC/BS of NJ}}. We are getting the new

helmet on Tuesday, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she will

be more comfortable in it and be able to sleep in it. The first one

was a horrid experience. I just wanted to also say that this board

has given my husband and me the needed boost of positive results

that we didn't have before since Kayden's first experience was so

icky. We are now looking forward to the new helmet and Kayden's soon-

to-be round head All the before and after pictures are wonderful

to see! I can't wait to post Kayden's Thanks everyone.

Thanks for posting the pics. I looked at them - ugh! No wonder she couldn't sleep. Please keep us posted. Hopefully the next one will be a good fit and Kayden will be off to a rounder noggin. I'm glad your ortho is replacing the band at no charge.

Her poor little ear!!! I'm sorry that her first helmet didn't work

out. I'm sure her new one will be much better and she'll have a

rounder noggin before you know it!!

Hi !

I can't believe how much that rubbed against her ear! How

uncomfortable! And her poor little eye! It's wonderful that they

are replacing it at no charge! What a relief for you!!

She is so cute!!! Good luck with the new helmet!!!

Thank you for posting and sharing these pictures, ! I'm so

glad that you are going to give it another chance. Kayden is

beautiful and what a pretty design you chose. Please let us know how
