,

I've been thinking about calling my insurance company to see what other labs I'm

able to use. The Quest lab is kinda dirty and the technicians are sometimes

scary. I thought it was just me.

Thanks for the heads up.

Wooohooo! Thinking about being " strange, " I told my hubby that he definitely

followed the beat of a different drummer (meant as a compliment). He laughed

and told me that he'd fired his drummer a long time ago! LOL

So I HOPE we both will live a long time cause I love the bejeesus out of him!

Hi,

I don't know if this is an option for anyone, but I get all my labwork done at

the outpatient lab at my local hospital.

This way, all I have to do is go to the medical records department to get

copies of my labwork results ... though now they are charging a dollar a page.

I make a point to pick them up before I see a doctor, this way I know what I

want to discuss/question ahead of time, and unfortunately all too often the

doctors miss the abnormalities ... especially if there are a number of pages.

No wonder I'm on a continual " doctor shop " mission!

Anyway, if anyone can get their labwork done at a local hospital, by law they

have to release your medical records to you.

Liz
