We had such a great experience with the band, the ortho, the company, everything! We were so resistant to getting a band in the beginning and we couldn't be happier with the result. Our ortho actually worked at the Hanger facility at Connecticut Children's before he moved here a couple of years ago. He's fantastic. We got a great fit from day one and Chris was able to make changes at visits to keep the helmet fitting properly as Nate grew and his head changed. For us, deciding on a band was a tough decision, deciding which facility to entrust with our son's head was even tougher. We looked into Cranial Technologies in Connecticut, Hanger and a Starband at Boston Children's before deciding on Hanger. I don't post on this site since Nate's been out of the helmet and we've moved on to new adventures (namely food allergies!), and I have no idea why I clicked on here today, but feel free to send me an email if you have other Hanger questions.
