Guest guest
Hello With Dr. Blecher's band you can only use stickers, NO paint. I used mod podge over Willow's stickers, and whenever I changed the theme everything pealed right off. Dr. Blecher did not say anything about the mod podge, but that whatever we had on looked cute. lol Good luck, and have fun decorating. that was my fav thing with the helmet. I even decorated it one more time after graduation with her name and smilys all over. lol Sandy > Hello again..... > > Cna anyone tell me what I am allowed to decorate the helmet > with....I have seen them covered in stickers....so they have to be a > specific sort r will any kind do??? > > Hubby doesn't like the stark whiteness of the helmet, so we are > drafting in the help of our 4 year old to decorate her brother's > helmet!! Guest guest
Hi again I stuck butterfly stickers on the helmet and covered them with a bit of clear acrylic paint, but I hear nail varnish will do as well! Some people are very creative and get onto painting it straight away, but I am a bit lazy and found the sticker solution the easiest. I would say though, get them stuck on straight away. I didn't bother the first month, and I noticed that once it was decorated, people were much more friendly (they can comment on the design, or say how cute) and it gives them a way to approach you- Lucia gets loads of attention wherever she goes (including from jealous bikers who want butterflies on their helmets too!) Guest guest
Hello, I also use stickers to decorate the band. People are much more friendly and I have had many comments! I like the vellum stickers because they are easy to put on and off. I change the stickers once a week to keep things interesting so I don't put anything over them. So far, so good, we're heading into week #6! Good luck.
