urticaria during pregnancy/pupps

The specific name for when you get urticaria during pregnancy is called pupps.

It stands for pruritic urticaria plaques of pregnancy syndrome. It usually

comes during the last few weeks of pregnancy and then disappears shortly after

labor. I got it a few days before delivery and it did disappear after my baby

was born, but then I got mastitis shortly after that and the hives reappeared,

and here I am typing on my 3yr anniversary with this stuff. I think my pupps

turned into cu. My allergist said anything is possible with cu. And speaking

of getting cu post natally, well I'm living proof that's how I got it.
