Hello, everyone. I am a 39yr old F. Live in FL. I was Dxd in March

2007. Via MRI, done b/c I was having an exacerbation (left arm and

hand unusable) at the time which eventually went away with the help of

steroid infusion. I have been on Avonex since that day. No real

problems since. But for the last 4 weeks, have been having symptoms

that are taking a long time to go away:

Slight numbing - pins and needles feelings in both legs

Small blurriness in lower middle segment of left eye

Bowel incontinence (anti-diarrhea meds are the best!)

Walking is going ok but the dizziness that comes with it and makes me

think I am going to keel over in one direction or another is highly

problematic

I am an office manager and the job is really stressful, so I am

aggressively doing yoga in an effort to keep me calm. I cannot

possibly POSSIBLY afford not to work OR to not be working this exact

job during the long periods of time it would take to get Disability,

if they would even approve me. (I was told by many people that you

cannot be working while you are being investigated and judged for

disability.

I see my Neurologist on Thursday, but she does little. I guess I am

really just writing in hopes that someone out there can tell me that

what I am experiencing is just SYMPTOMS, and not an EXACERBATION. What

do you think???

Thank you!
