Guest guest
(((((((chris)))))) I am happy to hear that they caught the tumors early. I am sorry to hear that you will need more surgery. I can understand that you would feel depressed. I would too! It is hard when you are dealing with several medical issues to begin with. I think if they find another thing wrong with me I will scream. I also struggle with bipolar disorder in addition to diabetes, arthitis, chronic pain, fatique and chronic migraines. I think my blood pressure goes up at least 10 points everytime I go to the doctor. I will keep positve thoughts for your speedy recovery. Gentle hugs, Tami

The note you posted from your doctor said they weren't cancerous - they were 'precancerous. " I had a section of my colon removed due to Endometriosis and it wasn't the big deal that I thought it would be. The old style hysterectomy I had at the same time, was so painful, that it drowned out any pain that might have been coming from my colon. Yes, you're going to have post surgical pain. That beats the hell out of letting the polyps grow more and start mutating into something far more dangerous. > I've been filled with anxiety, worry, and fear. I've been crying like a > baby because of these feelings. I've been in bed since Saturday. Please don't work yourself needlessly into such a state. Get up and get on with life. You're the same person you were than before you had the tests. You'll be even better afterwards. Those precancerous polyps are a serious warning to change how and what you eat. Your high fat, high calorie, low nutrition diet needs to be changed to a much lower fat, much lower calorie, more nutritious diet. I don't know if you smoke or not. If you do, it's time to quit. Instead of lying around feeling sorry for yourself, you really should be jumping for joy that the tumours are precancerous and were found before they became cancerous. I will ask him how he feels about doing a 2-for-1 job on me. Taking out the tumors and installing a lap band on me.
