Guest guest
How do you post pictures for an opinion? Does it make a difference whether my baby ends up with a Star band or a DOC band? I am in Okla. does anyone have an opinion on a treatment center in OK? Should I plan to drive further to go to the CT center in Dallas? I sure could use your wisdom and advice. Guest guest
We have some documents in our database that will explain more in detail the differences between the bands. Really what it all comes down to is the experience level of the facilities. Both bands are FDA approved, and they are both active bands. As of the pictures. Please go to Photos on your left, and then create an album in Our Plagio kids folder. After you did that it will give you the option to post pictures. Let us know when they are up so we can look at them. If you have dificulty let one of us mods know, and we can help. Guest guest
Hi and welcome to the group. I saw you just posted that you figured the picture thing out . I think we currently have a member from Oklahoma traveling to Dallas, but I'll add your location to your subject line. Cranial Tech has an excellent reputation and a great product with all highly tranied orthotists. A STARband can also give you great results, but you have to be sure to do your homework and interview them for their training and skills in using the STARband, as special training is not required by Orthomerica. In the hands of an inexperienced ortho, a band can actually make the head worse. Have you checked our helmet/band database to see if we have any close options or contacts listed for you? , mom to Hannah, DOCgrad Cape Cod, Ma --- In Plagiocephaly , " dixondara " <dixondara@y...> wrote: > > How do you post pictures for an opinion? > Does it make a difference whether my baby ends up with a Star band or > a DOC band? Guest guest
I am so sorry, I just saw this post. I have been SO busy! Where in Oklahoma are you? We are in Tulsa and I drive my daughter, Kennedy to Dallas weekly to go to Cranial Technologies. I believe they do Starbands in OKC. I was just personally more comfortable going with the DOC band. I am at a little bit of an advantage though because I do have family in the Dallas area so we spend the night. Glad you found this site! It is a great thing!
