Guest guest
However, today I did something I should not have done. I dropped a piece of mail on the ground. Since no one was around to help, I bent down to pick it up! As a result I was in excruciating pain, and had difficulty walking for a few minutes. I had not felt such pain since I had the first surgery in 1997! Should I contact my primary physician, or wait to see if the pain is only temporary? Hi Jef I'm so sorry you are hurting. Here is helpful link from spine-health.com: http://tinyurl.com/2fge7vu Please let us know how you are doing. Kaylene
Guest guest
I went to the ER today for my back pain. They gave me a shot of Toradol and took some x-rays. The results showed a severe sprain. I was discharded and given prescriptions for depo-medrol, vakium and Voltaren. Total time at the hospital - 4 hours! Guest guest
Give your self a few days to recover, rest, usual pain meds, heat or ice as recommended. If pain continues, definitely contact your PCP or your back surgeon. It is best to document the incident while it is fresh in your memory, then your doctor can continue to follow this incident from the beginning. Hope all is well soon. Keep us posted.
